Merdeka movements a charity event to spread positivity optimism kindness in bali
Bali, August 2020 – Azul Beach Club in collaboration with Pro Motion Events & Bali Hospitality movement was proud to host the recent charity event called “Merdeka Movement” during Indonesian Independence day on 17 August 2020. The main purpose of this event was to collect donations forthose economically & socially impacted by the pandemic in order to fulfil the needs of their daily life. The event also aims to spread optimism so that we can remains positive until the current situation resolves and we can work again normally.
The movement featured various local talents such as Remy Irwan (one of the most well respected DJs in the country and well-known as a true pioneer in the underground dance scene in Indonesia), Indonesian saxophonist-Donny, Dj Halim Ardie, and Kosha that brought their A-game during the event with one of a kind performance where they rap and sang alongside the exciting beats from live DJ.
The event received a huge positive response by guests who were eager to splash out on the purchase of raffle tickets for many great prizes including 2 nights stay voucherat Bali Mandira Beach Resort & Spa Private Pool Club Villa and other products which were donated by generous sponsors. Money was also raised from the F&B consumption during the event.

The event was conducted on limited seatings and strict guidelines on COVID-19 safety event standards would apply to all guests, vendors and suppliers during the event.
